Poh is the tenth month of the Nanakshahi calendar. The Magh month in the Nanakshahi calendar typically falls between January and February in the Gregorian calendar. It is the eleventh month of the Nanakshahi calendar and spans from around mid-January to mid-February.
During this month, various important Sikh events and festivals are celebrated. Additionally, Sikhs celebrate the festival of Maghi on January 13, which marks the end of the month of Poh and the beginning of Magh. Maghi is an important festival as it commemorates the valor and sacrifice of the "Chali Mukte," the Forty Liberated Ones, who stood with Guru Gobind Singh during the Battle of Muktsar.
